Tokyo Bay and Odaiba Park

Daiba and Odaiba Park at Tokyo Bay are sometimes referred to as New Tokyo. Decks and Joypolis are adjacent and Le Meridien hotel and the Fuji Television Building are across the street from this beautifully landscaped area.
 
The beauty of Tokyo Bay in the evening People gather in the evenings to enjoy the breath taking sunsets overlooking the Rainbow Bridge. 

The Rainbow bridge gets its name because the colors of its illumination are changed  throughout the year to correspond with each season.

Fire red sky Later in the evening, dinner boats drift throughout the bay.

Odaiba Park is a popular spot for romantic couples.

Replica of the Statue of Liberty
On loan from France, this Statue of Liberty located in the park attracts many visitors. It is from the Seine River in Paris and is scheduled to be in Tokyo until January 1999.

Decks

Decks, on Tokyo Bay Beach, is a fun place for young people to hang out with fashionable shops, restaurants and Joypolis.

Inside Joypolis was three floors of games, rides and simulators. A rollercoaster ran through the building.
Skateboard simulator
One of the rides in Joypolis was this Extreme skateboard simulator

By twisting your hips, you and your partner could make your skateboard spin 360 degrees while being hurled almost upside down in the air.

No.... we decided to just watch!
 

Fuji Television Building Across the street is the Fuji Television Building. The glimmering round observation tower changes its brilliant colors throughout the day and night. 

This building also has a wild continuous escalator  that rises, flattens on a level walkway and then inclines again as it ascends to the next floor level.
