People gather in the evenings
to enjoy the breath taking sunsets overlooking the Rainbow Bridge.
The Rainbow bridge gets its
name because the colors of its illumination are changed throughout
the year to correspond with each season. |
 |
Later in the evening, dinner
boats drift throughout the bay.
Odaiba Park is a popular
spot for romantic couples. |
|
On loan from France, this
Statue of Liberty located in the park attracts many visitors. It is from
the Seine River in Paris and is scheduled to be in Tokyo until January
1999. |

Inside Joypolis was three
floors of games, rides and simulators. A rollercoaster ran through the
building. |
|
One of the rides in Joypolis
was this Extreme skateboard simulator.
By twisting your hips, you
and your partner could make your skateboard spin 360 degrees while being
hurled almost upside down in the air.
No.... we decided to just
watch!

Across the street is the
Fuji
Television Building. The glimmering round observation tower changes
its brilliant colors throughout the day and night.
This building also has a
wild continuous escalator that rises, flattens on a level walkway
and then inclines again as it ascends to the next floor level.
