This cool performer put
on quite a show!
Ueno Zoo is especially known
for its giant pandas. The entire nation went into mourning when
one of the pandas died a few years ago.
This panda kept pacing round
and round, rubbing on this corner each time he walked by.
We enjoyed the zoo, but
unfortunately most of the animals were in cages.
Bordering the zoo was Shinobazu
Pond. It was constructed in the 17th century for aesthetics and tranquility.
It is now a water bird sanctuary and is adorned with lotus plants.
Many people were gathered around this beautiful blue bird and were taking
pictures. Why?
